The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Program at Glory Nursing is designed for Certified Nursing Assistants who want to expand their skills and responsibilities in patient care. This program provides comprehensive training in the safe administration of medications, medication observation and reporting, infection control, documentation, and resident safety. Students learn medication regulations, common drug classifications, dosage administration, and proper medication handling techniques through classroom instruction, skills practice and supervised clinical experience. Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared to take the Oklahoma State CMA Certification Exam and pursue opportunities in long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare settings.
